We at the Asha Foundation believe that everyone should have access to food. We are dedicated to addressing food insecurity across communities. That is why we have initiated a food donation program.
We distribute meals to those in need, making sure that every individual has access to the nourishment they require. The food donation programme of Asha Foundation makes sure that nobody goes to bed hungry. Our primary objective is to provide meals to the needy. The philosophy of Asha Foundation is to provide people with easy access to fundamental food items that would not only sustain but also nourish them in their daily lives.Many Indians lack a consistent source of income that would guarantee daily food security. This prompted us to do better for humanity, and the simplest place to start would be by feeding the hungry. Therefore, we expanded our horizons by providing food to patients in several hospitals. We actively participated in their assistance during the afternoon hours. We started by providing 10 meals per day, which today has reached nearly 108 meals per day. To guarantee that everyone has access to food, we want to serve as many meals as we can. This is the fundamental basis of our belief system. By being mindful, we initiated a plan for the educational improvement of indigent students and provided financial support by paying educational fees etc.
To improve the healthcare facilities of the underprivileged, we decided to provide medical support through generic medicine stores to meet their needs. Through the Medicine Donation Programme, the Asha Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to necessary medical supplies. We provide medicines, supply of small equipment, and financial donations to support those who require medical assistance but may not have the means to access it.
We also initiated a plan for the educational improvement of indigent students and provided financial support by paying educational fees, etc.
Our new program includes the adoption of small orphanage homes and providing basic amenities for children.
We select honest and service-oriented organizations as partners to reach the needy people to execute the above programs.
Donations from all individuals other than trustees will be converted as deposits tobecome a capital asset for the trust. The income received from these deposits along with the contribution of trustees to be used for day to day operations of trust. This process adopted to make the ASHA FOUNDATION self sustainable.
